Terms of Service

1. The Service and free access

MAPb2 provides 208 browser-based tools for mind mapping, diagramming, brainstorming, conversion, and visual thinking. All current tools are available without a fee, checkout, trial clock, or account requirement.

An optional account may be used for account-related features, but it does not change tool access. We may add, change, suspend, or remove tools and features as the Service evolves.

2. Your work and local storage

You retain ownership of maps, diagrams, notes, and other content you create. Normal tool operations process and store that content locally in your browser. We do not claim ownership of it.

You are responsible for keeping backups. Clearing site data, changing devices, a browser failure, or device loss may erase locally stored work, and we cannot recover it. If you deliberately send feedback with an attachment, that submitted copy is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Optional accounts

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information, protect your authentication methods, and notify us if you believe the account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

You may delete your account through the available account controls. Deleting an account does not automatically erase work stored locally in your browser; clear or export that work separately.

4. Acceptable use

You may use MAPb2 for lawful personal, educational, and business purposes. You may not:

• use the Service or its output to violate the law or another person's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or non-public data;
• introduce malware or interfere with the security, stability, or availability of the Service;
• use automation in a way that unreasonably burdens or disrupts the Service;
• misrepresent your relationship with MAPb2 or bee2.io LLC;
• copy, resell, or redistribute the Service itself except where the law expressly permits it.

5. MAPb2 materials

The Service's software, interface, branding, documentation, and original materials belong to bee2.io LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership of MAPb2.

6. Recommendations and third-party services

MAPb2 pages include two clearly labeled, first-party recommendations for other bee2.io products. They do not limit or condition access to MAPb2. The Service may also link to or rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, email, analytics, or sharing. We do not control third-party services, and their own terms and privacy notices apply when you use them.

7. Feedback

You may choose to send suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback. You give us permission to use non-confidential feedback to maintain and improve MAPb2 without restriction or compensation. Do not submit material you are not authorized to share. Personal information in feedback is handled under the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep MAPb2 available, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, deployments, security work, network failures, or events outside our control. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service when practical.

9. Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ITS OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES A WARRANTY OR RIGHT THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEE2.IO LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless bee2.io LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content, or your material violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or others, comply with law, address abuse, or respond to a material breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification, will continue to apply.

13. Governing law and general terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Massachusetts will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about your use of MAPb2.
