Yes. All 208 MAPb2 tools are currently free to use, with no checkout, trial clock, or account required. That includes mind maps, concept maps, flowcharts, brainstorming boards, decision tools, converters, and the export options offered by each tool.

Many tool interactions continue to work after a page has loaded because processing happens in your browser. Opening a new page, loading an external asset, signing in, sharing to another service, or sending feedback still requires a connection. Export important work before clearing browser data or changing devices.

Maps, diagrams, sketches, and imported working files are processed and stored locally in your browser. MAPb2 does not upload that creative content as part of normal tool use. If you deliberately send feedback, the message and any attachment you choose are uploaded so we can review them. Clearing site data can remove local work, so export anything important regularly.

MAPb2 supports a wide range of export formats: PNG (high-resolution images), SVG (scalable vector graphics), PDF (print-ready documents), JSON (full data backup and portability), and Markdown (structured text). The Print Optimizer tool also lets you create multi-page, fit-to-page, and black-and-white print layouts.

Yes. MAPb2 has full dark mode support across all tools and pages. Click the sun/moon icon in the header to toggle between light and dark themes. Your preference is saved locally and persists across sessions.

No. Every tool can be used without an account. Optional sign-in is available for account-related features, but it does not change tool access and your locally stored maps are not automatically moved to the cloud when you sign in.

Yes. MAPb2 is fully responsive and works on phones and tablets. The canvas tools support touch gestures including pinch-to-zoom, two-finger panning, and tap-to-select. For the best experience with complex maps, we recommend a tablet or desktop screen.

MAPb2 offers several import options. The Markdown to Map tool converts Markdown files into visual mind maps, and Text to Mind Map converts indented text. You can also import supported JSON, OPML, FreeMind, CSV, XML, PDF, or bookmark files with the matching converter. Map Merger can combine compatible map data. Check each importer for its exact accepted formats.

MAPb2 uses Google Analytics for page-view measurement, subject to regional consent and browser privacy signals. Analytics does not receive the contents of your maps or diagrams. Pages also show clearly labeled recommendations for other products made by bee2.io; these first-party recommendations do not change access to MAPb2 tools.

MAPb2 may perform brief maintenance updates typically between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM US Eastern Time (10:00–11:00 UTC), lasting approximately 5–10 minutes. During this window, the service may be briefly disrupted. When a new version is deployed, you will see a notification banner at the top of the page - simply click "Refresh" when you are ready. MAPb2 will never auto-refresh while you are working. Since all tools run locally in your browser, any work in progress is preserved on your device.
